"Children Desiring God"

A curriculum to impart to our children a vision of God – who He is and who they are in relation to Him. To establish our children in a foundation of truth…to be biblically grounded with a God-centered worldview…a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come…and for them to love the Lord, their God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength and to delight in Him forever.

"Jesus, What a Savior!" Our children (like us) are helpless sinners, deserving of God’s eternal wrath. Children need to hear this truth so that they, like us, can turn to the perfect and only remedy — the free gift of salvation through Jesus the Savior! Each lesson in "Jesus, What a Savior!" is designed to present the material, including Bible stories, in a way that proclaims the centrality of the greatness and worth of God. This chronological study on redemption focuses on God’s revelation of His Son, Jesus, as the one and only hope for desperate sinners—the good news of the Gospel!

2nd - 3rd Grade Sunday School
Moses Room
Fellowship Hall - Lower Level

“Faithful to All His Promises” is a study for children on the promises of God. Children will not simply learn about some of God's promises, but rather, they will discover what it means to trust in those promises which are God's gift to us, not something we deserve. Faithful to All His Promises begins by teaching children what a promise is, what makes God trustworthy with these promises, and who these promises are for. Then children get to explore some specific promises from God to see how He has been and will be faithful to each of those promises.

"In the Beginning . . . Jesus" The Bible is one complete true story that progressively reveals God's redemptive plan, which comes to complete fulfillment in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. In the Beginning...Jesus begins with a historical mystery—Jesus' death on the cross—and asks the questions: "What really happened here?" "Why did Jesus die?" and "Who did it?" To find the answers to these questions, the study goes to the beginning of the Bible narrative in Genesis and then moves chronologically through the Old Testament text as students search for clues that foreshadow the coming of Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. Special emphasis is given to showing that the Bible is God's story from beginning to end and that Jesus is the key to understanding the story.

7th & 8th Grade Sunday School
Elijah Room, Lower Level

"Abiding in Jesus" This study challenges junior high students to know Jesus as the Savior and Satisfier of their souls. Inspired by John 15, youth are taught that abiding in Jesus leads to trusting Him in all life’s situations and bearing spiritual fruit in Him. Each lesson allows time for students to experience Christian fellowship. The study features interactive teaching with small group discussion, application, prayer, and fellowship time. A student journal enables students to note important biblical truth, facilitates class fellowship time, and provides helpful at-home Bible study and life application.

9th & 10th Grade Sunday School
Youth Lounge (Lower Level)

"Your Word Is Truth - A Study for Seeing All of Life Through the Truth of Scripture" The goal of this study is that, through the work of the Holy Spirit, the authoritative Truth of the Bible might be understood and embraced so students may see and interpret all of life through the Truth of Scripture. Our hope is that students would not be conformed to the thinking of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of their minds, that by testing they might discern what is good and acceptable (Romans 12:2). Finally, as the students grow in their own love and delight of the Truth, we want to encourage and equip them to stand firm in an increasingly hostile culture, boldly and humbly proclaiming the triumphant Truth of the Gospel.

11th & 12th Grade Sunday School
Upstairs NW Room

Lessons for senior high encourage youth to develop biblical study skills so that they are able to study and apply God’s Word with competence and confidence.
